Modern internet culture has commodified human suffering, flattening severe psychological dependencies, trauma, and identity crises into marketable lifestyle aesthetics (e.g., Coquette, Dark Academia). AFTERLIFE exists to stage an intellectual peer review and a visual autopsy of this romanticization, providing an uncompromised sanctuary for raw creative expression while exposing the structural systems that exploit vulnerability.
